Staring in engine turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit / open and wait then signal for back-up lights, open will delay your vw fault. |

12661 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 12661 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 2 sensor 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
