12647 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine activation starter relay 2, short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open and wait then reversing light, circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
12647 Possible Causes:
12647 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12647 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
