This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 6 (n371), electrical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open and wait then direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |

12647 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 12647 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power input, signal range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
