This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3, probe 2 electrical error in the electric circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, heater circuit achievement too small you can see the ecm/pcm power input, signal range / performance is the final reason of the code. |

12646 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 12646 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
