Diagnosing engine bar with supply voltage for fuel injector group b, open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, open circuit also coolant degassing valve, control circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
12646 Possible Causes:
12646 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12646 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
