When you open intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+ you can see the relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
12636 Possible Causes:
12636 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12636 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
