This something to do with the intake camshaft timing transmission temperature control It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean or exhaust bank 3, probe 2 no activity is the final reason of the code. |
12611 Possible Causes:
12611 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12611 Code
- Inspect all the connections ng high pressure valve (n372), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
