12610 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about malfunction indication light (k83), short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 2 or fuel pump "b" control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
12610 Possible Causes:
12610 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12610 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
