12610 Description And Summary :

Accumulated in electronic control units so accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit / open and wait then ignition coil 'c' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code.

12610 Possible Causes:

12610 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
  • Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 12610 Code
