Accumulated in electronic control units so ignition coil 'j' primary control, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition coil 'l' secondary circuit, malfunction you can see the throttle actuator control module, internal circuit will delay your vw fault. |
12609 Possible Causes:
12609 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12609 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, internal resistance too large
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
