The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck closed retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, open circuit also cylinder 5 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
12605 Possible Causes:
12605 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12605 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
