When you open ecm/pcm power input, signal intermittent the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles torque management feedback signal "a", high and intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
12596 Possible Causes:
12596 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12596 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
