Diagnosing engine bar with transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start shift lock, short to ground and o2 sensor signals swapped bank 2 sensor 2 / bank 2 sensor 3 will delay your vw fault. |
12581 Possible Causes:
12581 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 12581 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
