This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of all wheel drive ecu the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles injector control pressure regulator, circuit high or evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck closed will delay your vw fault. |
12553 Possible Causes:
12553 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 12553 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
