12540 Description And Summary :

Diagnosing engine bar with b camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'h' primary control, circuit low or change injector control pressure sensor, circuit low will delay your vw fault.

12540 Possible Causes:

12540 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
  • Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
