Accumulated in electronic control units so friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 2 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor valve for fuel bypass (n312), short-circuit after pluses or exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, no activity is the final reason of the code. |
12538 Possible Causes:
12538 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 12538 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', minimum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
