This code were stamped on VW Engine case charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel level sensor 2, circuit and wait then control module defect is the final reason of the code. |
12538 Possible Causes:
12538 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 12538 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
