Staring in engine turbocharger speed sensor, circuit range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high or pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
12531 Possible Causes:
12531 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12531 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
