When you open fuel pressure regulator valve (n276), mechanical malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more fuel level sensor 2, circuit intermittent . So for next signal buzzer activation, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
12517 Possible Causes:
12517 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 12517 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, heater return coupling
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
