When you open please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527) run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ignition coil cylinder 13, low circuit or please check dtc memory of instrument cluster will delay your vw fault. |
12516 Possible Causes:
12516 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12516 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, implausible message from brake controller
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
