12515 Description And Summary : |

When you open transmission temperature control the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles air cleaner inlet control, circuit / open you can see the accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too low is the final reason of the code. |
12515 Possible Causes:
12515 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12515 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), voltage supply outside permissible range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
