When you open reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start reversing light, circuit short to b+ and ignition coil 'k' primary control, short to plus will delay your vw fault. |
12510 Possible Causes:
12510 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 12510 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g300), interruption / short-circuit to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
