Accumulated in electronic control units so pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system glow plug indictor light (k29), malfunction message from instrument cluster also intake manifold runner control, default not reached is the final reason of the code. |
12500 Possible Causes:
12500 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off

What To Check After Fixing 12500 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
