This something to do with the intake camshaft timing mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel mode indicator lamp control, circuit or please check dtc memory of steering wheel electronics will delay your vw fault. |
125 Possible Causes:
125 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 125 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 2 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
