The problem is about b camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake please check dtc memory of adr control module and injection pump, timing calibration not learned is the final reason of the code. |
12499 Possible Causes:
12499 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12499 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, sudden high air flow detected
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
