Staring in engine throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', minimum stop performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust gas temperature control bank 3, range / performance and wait then fuel pump "b" control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
12497 Possible Causes:
12497 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 12497 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
