The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high or change vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
12494 Possible Causes:
12494 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12494 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of transmission ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
