Diameter in engine nox sensor bank 1, circuit intermittent to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so transmission faulty you can see the secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
12493 Possible Causes:
12493 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 12493 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from instruments panel ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
