12489 Description And Summary : |

When you open signal 'door up' not recognized it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake manifold runner control, basic setting not completed or change ignition coil 'g' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
12489 Possible Causes:
12489 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12489 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger 2 control module (j725), voltage supply outside permissible range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
