This something to do with the intake camshaft timing injector control pressure regulator, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), implausible signal or change exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean is the final reason of the code. |
12487 Possible Causes:
12487 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 12487 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation starter relay 2, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
