When you open fuel pump, short circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to ground or change ignition switch run position, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
12486 Possible Causes:
12486 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 12486 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module throttle actuator position, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
