The problem is about intake manifold runner bank 1, high temperature run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck closed or change throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
12485 Possible Causes:
12485 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
