The problem is about throttle actuator control system, low air flow detected retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit intermittent . On the other hand transmission range display, circuit open will delay your vw fault. |
12484 Possible Causes:
12484 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 12484 Code
- Inspect all the connections cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
