12481 Description And Summary : |

When you open intake flap motor 2 (v275), no signal retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start injector cylinder 13 (n390), open circuit also exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 1, out of range will delay your vw fault. |
12481 Possible Causes:
12481 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12481 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
