The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault tiptronic switch down, circuit short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor control module 2 for cooling fan, short circuit and wait then linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
12473 Possible Causes:
12473 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 12473 Code
- Inspect all the connections actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
