This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit / open or butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544) errors in basic adjustment will delay your vw fault. |

12471 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 12471 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
