The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more intake flap motor 2 (v275), short to b+ or change o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |

12461 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 12461 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
