Diagnosing engine bar with pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) open / short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance . So for next exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, electrical error in the electric circuit is the final reason of the code. |
12460 Possible Causes:
12460 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12460 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug control module 2 (j703) to pcm communication circuit, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
