12460 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2 to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit or shift lock, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
12460 Possible Causes:
12460 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 12460 Code
- Inspect all the connections shift lock, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
