This something to do with the intake camshaft timing air cleaner inlet control, circuit / open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit high and exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', performance is the final reason of the code. |
12454 Possible Causes:
12454 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12454 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
