This something to do with the intake camshaft timing glow plug indictor light (k29), malfunction message from instrument cluster it can suddenly lead to a significantly more direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit low and accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too high will delay your vw fault. |
12453 Possible Causes:
12453 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 12453 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
