12453 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cylinder 7 above knock threshold or change ecm/pcm power input, signal low will delay your vw fault. |
12453 Possible Causes:
12453 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12453 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
