The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system boost pressure control valve (n249), mechanical malfunction also crankshaft position signal output, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
12448 Possible Causes:
12448 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12448 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
