When you open kick down switch, error message from engine contr. It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake control module 1 for cooling fan, excess temperature and mil control circuit, open / short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
12444 Possible Causes:
12444 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 12444 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
