12442 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4, compensation wire pump current, open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel injection valve 1 (n366), open circuit or change valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
12442 Possible Causes:
12442 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12442 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
