The problem is about torque management feedback signal "a", low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake evaporative emission system switching valve, stuck closed or exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit of electrical errors is the final reason of the code. |
12442 Possible Causes:
12442 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12442 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
