This something to do with the intake camshaft timing b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit low also o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich will delay your vw fault. |
12430 Possible Causes:
12430 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 12430 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
