This code were stamped on VW Engine case diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit or throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
12429 Possible Causes:
12429 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12429 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
