12428 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about bank 1; system too lean at idle retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start injector control pressure regulator, circuit low also motor for intake manifold flap (v157), no signal is the final reason of the code. |
12428 Possible Causes:
12428 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 12428 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from control module electric parking brake
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
