12427 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about data bus powertrain, missing message from diagnostic interface-control module retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start shift up/down wire, open / short to ground or oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
12427 Possible Causes:
12427 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 12427 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant fan control module 2, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
