When you open cylinder 5 above knock threshold mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold runner control, regulation deviation or ignition coil 'a' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
12426 Possible Causes:
12426 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12426 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
