Staring in engine intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 3, probe 2 electrical error in the electric circuit and performance malfunction in cooling system will delay your vw fault. |
12425 Possible Causes:
12425 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12425 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, voltage too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
