Staring in engine actuator supply voltage "b", circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor function restriction due to brake temperature or shift lock, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
12423 Possible Causes:
12423 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12423 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
