This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'g' primary control, short to plus run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit and wait then reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
12422 Possible Causes:
12422 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 12422 Code
- Inspect all the connections drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
