Diagnosing engine bar with pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich and coolant degassing valve, control circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
12421 Possible Causes:
12421 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12421 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, electrical error in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
