12409 Description And Summary :

Staring in engine turbo/super charger, under-boost condition It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake valve for pump - jet, cylinder 2 (n241), electrical malfunction or intake air temperature sensor 1/2 correlation is the final reason of the code.

12409 Possible Causes:

12409 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
  • Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
  • Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
  • Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
  • Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
  • Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
  • Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 12409 Code

  • Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), low
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
