The problem is about throttle actuator control module, performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for coolant system circuit, low / intermittent and powertrain data bus, missing message from steering angle sensor will delay your vw fault. |
12407 Possible Causes:
12407 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 12407 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
