Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel supply heater, control circuit low also activation starter relay 2, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
12407 Possible Causes:
12407 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12407 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant fan (v7), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
